Denver Botanic Gardens

We barely squeezed in our September Family Fun activity but on Saturday we decided to go to the Denver Botanic Gardens.  It was FREE Museum Day and so we decided we would go there a) it was the most expensive one on the list (so getting it for free was EXCELLENT!) and b) it was beautiful to soak in some nice weather and outside time before it gets cold. 

It was beautiful and we got there first thing in the morning and so it wasn't too busy yet either.  Apparently there main exhibit right now is all about East meeting the West.  So there was TONS of bamboo artsy stuff which was fun to look at.  It was fun to wander around.  And Jacob even seemed to enjoy it - that is when he wasn't sleeping!  So grateful for my little family. 

We enjoyed this "action plant" in their sensory garden.  You touched it and all of the leaves would fall together.
