Spring

We had a great time celebrating the first day of spring!  Except for the cruel joke that Sarah, Benjamin, and I woke up to runny noses, coughs and chills!  

We made lemon cake and made a spring picture.  Let me just tell you, getting Benjamin's hand print was no small task!  Their little flowers turned out adorable and it was fun talking about all of the things we were excited about for spring.

St. Patrick's Day

We had a great St. Patrick's Day!

We woke up and I made some green waffles - to which Jacob said, "I don't like green food.  Unless it's veggie straws."  He changed his mind.  Haha!

Also, I realize how funny it is that it is St. Patrick's Day and they BOTH just happen to be in Christmas jammies!  

We did some coloring, played with green playdough,  made green popcorn and had our traditional Irish feast for dinner.  They kiddos had a great ole' time and I love an excuse to celebrate!

They are pretty much THE BEST!

Sleep Training

Today we started sleep training Benjamin.  Benjamin has actually rolled with it pretty okay and has actually had probably the happiest day ever for him.  So...that's been great!  He hasn't done much sleeping but he has been so happy!  I don't know what's going on but we are just going to go with it!

It was really great to get to spend some quality time with Jacob and Sarah.  I suppressed my desire to attack my year long list of things I want to get done and we baked cookies for family home evening and played all day.  It was wonderful and I am excited to have happier times with all three of my favorite kiddos!

3 Months

This sweet boy is 

three months old!

Benjamin has grown so much this last month!  He is now 24 inches in length (53%), weighs 12 pounds 13 ounces (41%), and has a head circumference of 39 cm (7%).  He is still in three month size clothes.  He has a four-ounce bottle 7 times a day.  He is still getting up once at night and takes three naps a day.  

Benjamin is getting a little bit more calm every day.  We love seeing our boy getting happier.  Every day we get lots of smiles now and they are THE BEST!  

He is getting stronger and stronger!  He holds up his head so well but is still a little wobbly.  

Benjamin is getting so aware of his surroundings.  He loves interacting with each of us and it's been so fun to see him be able to focus on each of us and what is going on around him.  

We love our little man so much.  We are so grateful every day that he is in our family.  

Miriam's Baptism

This last weekend we got to go up to Rexburg for Miriam's baptism.  It was a short and sweet trip but we are so glad that we were able to go.  Miriam is such a sweet and kind little girl and I am so glad that she has set such a wonderful example for our kiddos.  

We love you, Miriam.  We are so proud of you!

Ward Mission Leader

Mark got a new calling on Sunday!  He was released as the Cub Scout Master and put in as the Ward Mission Leader.  He is excited and we can't wait to work more with the missionaries!
