Jacob's 3rd Birthday

This silly, fun, smart, sensitive, helpful, and kind little man turned three years old!

We are so in love with our little Jacob.  This has been such a big year for him and he has had to grow up a lot!  He has taken all of our life changes in stride and is an example to all of us.  He makes us laugh every day and really strives to always do his best.  He is silly and loves making goofy faces to make us all laugh.  He is unbelievably smart and always surprises us with all that he retains and remembers.  He loves learning new things.  He is sensitive to the feelings of everyone around us and does his best to comfort in his own sweet way.  He is a great helper to everyone and is a hard worker when a job needs to be done.  

Jacob brings such a warm and enthusiastic spirit to our home.  He makes us incredibly happy and our family would definitely not be the same without him.

To celebrate we had a day all about Jacob AND planes!  It was so much fun.  To start his special day he woke up to waffles with raspberries and bacon.  YUM!

We then got ready and headed up to Hill Air Force Base to see their Air Force Museum.  It was so much fun.  Jacob loves walking around outside and looking at all of the planes and getting to touch them and see what the different parts of the plane looked like up close.  

Then inside they had two hangers full of planes.  It was so much to see the evolution of planes.  The best part was definitely seeing Jacob loving everything he was seeing.  It was the perfect activity for our day!

We then headed home for lunch and naps and got ready for Jacob's birthday party!  Grandpa and Grandma Berning, Grandpa and Grandma Clegg, Aunt Melina and Aunt Megan all came and we had a great time.  We had a landing game with the planes in the backyard, had a yummy dinner, cake, and presents!  It was such a fun night and Jacob was on cloud nine the entire time.  I loved seeing him so happy.  I loved giving him a day all about him.
