Jacob continues to make us so happy. Every day I feel so overwhelming blessed to have him in our family. I love my little man.
Now for all of the fun Jacob-isms:
Jacob flicks everything with his hands. I don't really know how else to describe it other than flicking. He just swipes his hand back and forth. He does this with his toys, his food, my glasses in the morning...everything. Too funny.
He has also mastered the "pincher grab." This took a little longer then I would have thought for him. I thought Jacob would be all over feeding himself and pretty much he just nose-dived straight into his food. What a boy! But now he eats with ease - and not so pig-like :)
Mark discovered about a week ago that Jacob is very ticklish under his chin. It is so cute! He just laughs and laughs! Guess who else has this very same ticklish spot - oh me! Mark finds way too much joy in tickling me to tears (happy tears of course!) and now Jacob is getting in on it too!
One Jacob-ism that was cute for like a day was Jacob's current obsession with his tongue. Luckily, it is dying down (thank goodness!) but he sticks out his tongue all the time or constantly is pressing it on and around his little teeth. This part of it is actually pretty cute. However, with all of this he has learned how to spit, and let me tell you, that boy can spit pretty well! Not exactly the greatest accomplishment when it comes to manners though. Especially, when he has a full mouth of food and decides to get all "spit-y." Oh well...luckily it seems to be a phase we are leaving! Keep your fingers crossed!
Jacob's favorite activity right now is definitely peek-a-boo. He will grab anything around him and put it up to his face and play peek-a-boo. The really funny thing though is that he doesn't even need anyone to be there. He will be in another room and we will hear him just giggling away and peek in on him and he is just having a great old time playing peek-a-boo with himself. What a kid!
We love our little boy! Happy 10 Months little buddy!
