Fourth of July

Happy Fourth of July!
I love the opportunity to celebrate the birth of this great country that we live in.  I am grateful for the freedoms that we enjoy and all those who have fought to protect them.  It was a great day to celebrate the United States of America!

We spent the day in Soda Springs!  In the morning was the parade and the kids LOVED it!  Jacob and Sarah were both in the action and loved every minute of it!  We came home with WAY too much candy!

We then headed over to Grandpa and Grandma Clegg's house for a barbecue.  It was great to catch up with them, my Uncle Wayne and Aunt Dori and their family, and my Uncle Jim and Aunt Sarah and their family.  I love holidays that bring family together.

That afternoon, our little family rested while everyone else went shooting.  We then headed over to my Grandma Dixie's home to spend the rest of the Fourth.

We had a yummy dinner and Grandma's traditional ice cream roll.  Then we got the kiddos some sparklers and they had their first experience with fireworks.  The fireworks were an ABSOLUTE HIT!  Jacob and Sarah could not get enough of them.

We spent the rest of the night doing MORE fireworks and watching the Soda Springs firework show.  It was a great day to be an American!

And another great Clegg Family Reunion!
