Saturday morning we woke up to cold and rain. It was my perfect day - except for when you want to go to the beach. We kind of lazied about most of the morning hoping for the weather to take a turn. When it didn't, we decided that we would head up to the summit and hike the Limber Pine Trail. It's such a fun little trail and is perfect for little kiddos.
We then headed back to the cabin and had lunch. Everyone else grabbed lunch and decided to try out the lake now that it had stopped raining. Our little family decided to stay behind and do naps (because it was still really cold despite the rain stopping). Mark and I played games while the kiddos napped.
Once they got up the weather had cleared and it was BEAUTIFUL! We didn't know how soon everyone would be back so we just decided to not do the beach which was a little disappointing. We decided to just go and take a walk around town and down to the KOA and it was some great family time. Jacob and Mark even took some jumps on the jumping pillow at the KOA!
That night we played more games and enjoyed being together as a family! And even though the day didn't quite go as planned it was still a great day!
